New PhD. Students Position Opens with Northvolt
We are pleased to announce several industrial positions in cooperation with leading battery company Northvolt. Northvolt was founded to enable the transition to a decarbonized future by building a sustainable battery industry. It is pioneering a new approach to battery manufacturing based on a commitment to fossil-free energy, sustainable raw material sourcing and recycling.
As an industrial PhD student at Northvolt, you will have the opportunity to combine academia with practical application. There are several PhD positions available until May 1st.
One will focus on how to implement a robust excellence/production system, such as the Scania or Toyota production systems, in a rapid scale-up and two will focus on understanding how to create operational readiness for the establishment of new gigafactories. Application link
Another role will be to ensure that future factory designs are based on proven facts from existing factories and take into account the needs of all teams in the factories. Support the efficient use of Mother Plant resources to support new expansion projects to enable successful ramp-up. Application link
