IndTech conference 2022

The IndTech conference was held from August 25th to 26th at Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions in Sandviken city.

It was the first year gathering of Industrial Ph.D. students, supervisors, mentors, and board members in person since the pandemic.

The conference focused on enhancing competence regarding public speaking skills and publication collaboration, which are essential for long-term PhD studies.

They presented themselves in 5 minutes pitch and formed a publication plan in groups during the mingle session. We were also honored to have Nina Åxman introduce the transformative journey of Sandvik Rock Tools in global operations and the presentation about Human-Centered Industrial AI from Professor Kristian Sandström of MDU.
